The last two days I’ve been incredibly busy at work. I was preparing a presentation for my boss. Then on Wednesday I went to frame the poster I got from Edward Tufte’s store, “Napoleon’s March.” I did it at a DIY place but it was still kind of expensive. Yesterday, I hung out with a couple of co-workers, we went to Lia’s for drinks and dinner then saw an advance preview of “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” I really recommend the movie, it was hilarious!
Yesterday when I woke up I smelled burned rubber. I soon found out that there was a huge fire a couple of blocks from my place. About 200 people were displaced but it looks like everyone is safe. When I came home late last the night the rubber smell was still around and I got to see the building and it just made me really sad. I was on the phone with my parents and they immediately sensed my mood swing. I’m wondering if there is any way to help the people who were displaced…
